Alice The Wonderland Oracle

First and foremost I must point out this deck is made of the one the thing all readers hate… thin sticky cards. Next, the size is awkwardly large and I have fairly large hands. While the artwork is very well done for an oracle deck it often does not connect with the message of the card at all (actually quite common with oracle decks). A couple examples include card number 43 regarding creating your own happiness yet the girl is ready to start crying… card number 18 she looks angry, neither fearful or empowered, just mad.

The guidebook is highly detailed and fairly large for the niche. There is an introduction to the deck and it’s use as well as five spreads. The book does include excerpts from the Alice in Wonderland book itself, tying the original story line in with the main message of the card. The main message, an upright divination meaning and a reversed meaning are all included in the book. Each card gets about two pages of information.

The deck is easy to use and to understand, it would be suitable for both beginners and seasoned readers.
